It's been 4 years since I founded YAMAGA BASE Inc., 3 years since I bought my closed-down old school "Chida Elementary," and 2 years since YAMAGA BASE opened.
I thought I knew it wouldn't be easy. But it was harder than I imagined.
There were so many things I never saw coming.
I kept trying to make it work on my own — but I was being self-absorbed.
And then I hit my limit.
So from here, I want to draw the rest of this together, with everyone.
Honestly, money is tight too. That's why I decided to run a crowdfunding campaign.
But existing platforms charge high fees, can't take small ¥100 gifts, take ages to approve, and are often Japanese-only.
So I decided to build the crowdfunding site itself, from scratch.
Built with Claude — so, "Claude-funding." …I'll see myself out.
But here too, I almost made it all about me again.
